nail breakage

I have thick nails that grow very quick, but also breaks right in the middle at the worst part! I end up cutting it real short almost to the skin and filing (hurts bad). I have used nailtiques in the past, doesn't seem to do much. Here and there I use "hoof Lacquer" but I haven't been consistent with it. Being that there are tons of nail breakage products in the market, which one do you highly reccomend and how often to use it?

Nails that are thick need more moisture to prevent breakage. Try Nail Tek #3 to add moisture to the nail and their cuticle oil is good as well. Nailtiques works great, but the company recommends that you only use it(#2) for a limited time before moving on to #1 or #3.
